Epson KHZ products are divided into cylinder DIP and SMD.

Epson is best known for 32.768 KHZ in KHZ. 32.768K crystal oscillator is an important component used in digital circuit board. Someone likens it to the heartbeat generator of circuit board. That is to say, if the heart stops beating, the circuit board will not be able to work steadily. Epson C-002RX in 32.768K is a popular cylindrical tuning fork crystal oscillator with a volume of only 2*6mm. It has the same volume and parameters as the DT-26 of Japanese KDS.

Therefore, the four types of crystal oscillators mentioned can be used interchangeably. It's just that some customers prefer a brand, or the superiors have a request to use what brand.

The advantages of C-002RX are

Apart from the C-002RX crystal oscillator, the C-001 is also a tuning fork crystal oscillator commonly used in the process. Its volume is only about 3*8mm. Only 2*6 is slightly smaller, which is loved by the popular consumers. Compared with this, of course, there are smaller volumes than 2*6, such as C-004R cylindrical oscillator with a volume of only 5*1.5mm and C-005R cylindrical oscillator with a volume of 4.5*1.2mm. Prices are relatively expensive. Because small size means small space.

32.768KHZ patch series, Epson has done quite well in this series, the smallest volume of the patch crystal oscillator achieved 2.05*1.25*0.35mm. Before that, the smallest volume was basically 3.2*1.5mm. Epson's constant breakthroughs have given him an absolute advantage in the market. But the price of this patch crystal oscillator is quite expensive. Because the smaller the wafer mill inside, the more complex the Epson crystal oscillation process is.

The excellent characteristics of the quartz crystal oscillator are that it has better impact resistance than the ceramic package and can give full play to the excellent electrical characteristics.

We take TSX-3225 as the first example. Because the miniaturization and sustainable development of MHZ patch crystal oscillator, it is more popular in industrial products like 3.2*2.5mm, 5.0*3.2mm and 6.0*3.5mm in volume. The price is also reasonable, generally acceptable and the performance is relatively stable.
