Characteristics and advantages of Epson crystal angular velocity sensor:

The angular velocity sensor of EPSON is made of crystal, which realizes miniaturization and high stability. For this reason, it is adopted by many digital cameras. Recently, commodities that need to detect human or object movements are being explored for applications such as navigation systems or games. They are new crystal components with broad development prospects.

Highly stable

Epson's angular velocity sensor uses crystals as raw materials, so even if the ambient temperature changes, the sensitivity and zero output can remain stable. With the unique dual T-type structure of Epson, the Epson angular velocity sensor has the characteristics of less interference, increasing the sensitivity of components, and being less affected by temperature changes. The driving arm eliminates each other's vibration through relative vibration, so the central detection arm is in a static state. The detection arm is in a static state, so the state without rotating motion can be correctly tested. By adding rotational motion, the driving arm will generate longitudinal vibration due to the Earth's deflection force (Creolian force). Because of the longitudinal vibration of the driving arm and the bending of the central fixed part, the detection arm generates the detection vibration.

Therefore, in Epson angular velocity sensor, the double T shape is the key. The miniaturization of the dual-T structure benefits from the leading key technology in EPSON industry, QMEMS.

What are the applications of crystal angular velocity sensors?

In the application of crystal angular velocity sensor, it can be roughly divided into "detection action", "position deviation correction" and "fully automatic unmanned driving" according to its use.

1. Position deviation correction

A. Self-propelled white-line drawing robot with lime lines on the playground while detecting its position

B. Binocular telescopes with navigation function and anti-shake correction function;

C. Between tunnels or buildings that cannot receive GPS radio waves, angular velocity sensors are dedicated to supporting navigation.

D. Navigation mobile phone with angular velocity sensor.

2. Fully automatic driverless

A. Epson crystal angular velocity sensor senses the vehicle's slip caused by steep turning or easily skidding road surface, and automatically controls the vehicle to maintain the function of the vehicle's forward direction.

B. Controlling the posture of the robot (which plays the role of replacing the human semicircular canal) and assisting the robot to walk on both feet.

3. Detection of action field

A. Anti-shake correction of digital camera. The anti-shake corrector loaded on most digital cameras makes it easy for non-professional photographers to use difficult photographic techniques; this is the most commonly used area at present.

B. To master more effective running shoes or swing postures through motion analysis, and to train golf clubs.

C. As long as it scrolls or tilts, the remote controller can convert or adjust the volume between TV and Internet, and play DVD, etc.

D. The angle change can be detected instantaneously when the equipment loaded with hard disk falls down. By stopping the hard disk urgently, it can be used to prevent data from being destroyed.

E. Switching function that can be switched on/off by tapping a commodity in a pocket.
